Nano Solutions produces Reaction Bonded Silicon Carbide (RBSC - also called SiSiC, or SiliconizedSiC) materials. RBSC is extensively used in semi-conductor equipment and other precision applications. RBSC materials provide several advantages:
- Due to minimal shrinkage, it is possible to produce near-new shaped parts
- Large (450mm and above) size parts
- Light weighted parts, such as with ribs, and other intricate features
- Directly polished optical components
